The time is now

You have made a wise decision in your professional development to check out the premier association for the career-minded Admin professional. If you are new to California, use the chapter locator in the left column of this page to find a chapter near you to attend an educational meeting and network with your peers. We are confident that you will find a chapter to join or transfer into to start (or continue) receiving the benefits of membership. Who knows, you might even get a lead on a new job and/or learn some new practices to impress your boss and/or get you that raise and/or promotion. The CA Division is in the Southwest District (1 of 6) of IAAP. If you haven't already, visit our international website to see the “bigger picture” that is IAAP.

There are 26 chapters in California Division with over 950 professional, merited (retired) and student members. The Division sponsors Leadership Development for chapter members and promotes Certification through the Certified Professional Secretary® (CPS®) and Certified Administrative Professional® (CAP®) exams given annually in May and November.  

Each June, California Division holds the Annual Educational Forum (AEF) consisting of educational seminars/workshops and the California Division Annual Meeting (CDM) consisting of an Exhibitor Expo, Business Sessions, Division Board election, and Chapter Board Leadership Seminar.
